Dave Lambert is without a doubt one of the most influential DJs in the Belgian house scene. With a career of 15 years and counting, he has been playing in all 10 editions of Tomorrowland. Also he was present in the First Edition of TomorrowWorld 2013 and opening the mainstage of Tomorrowland in 2012.
Dave Lambert was in all the big festivals such as Sensation (White), Tomorrowland (Mainstage), Cityparade, Laundry Day, Groovecity and many more. He also was resident in 3 of Belgium’s biggest and most notorious clubs. Clubs such as Versuz, La Rocca and Zillion.
Currently Dave Lambert must be one of the busiest DJ’s in Belgium. With an incredible amount of gigs, he always finds the means to get a crowd go mental. You can easily say that he’s a genuine crowd pleaser without doing to many consessions on his musical choice.
Dave can be situatued music wise in between the underground with Deep and Tech house sounds. But, he can easily adapt to the more powerfull EDM-Elektro sounds for the bigger stages. His sound is unique and crowdpleasing and he can easliy be put next to Luciano or Solomun. Furthermore, he can stand his ground when playing before or after guys like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike or Hardwell. Internationally, Dave Lambert is no stranger either with gigs in countries and cities. He’s been in Japan, Miami, Brazil, Dubai, Spain, Ibiza, Croatia, Germany and several others!
Besides releasing over 40+ compilations in his career, Dave Lambert’s weekly radio shows are aired. Over +30 stations worldwide, his shows were reaching over 15 different countries! On a production level, his highlights include “Yeah”, “House In Play”, “Beep” and “S Vibes”. Also included are “Music For Peace”, “My House Is Your House” and several others! His records were in countries such as Russia, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Germany, Swizz, Austria and Italy. His records also reached South America, South Africa, Brazil, US, Japan and many more! He has remix records by Fedde Le Grand, Benny Benassi and John Dahlback. He has remix records of Maroon5 too also Mason, Thomas Gold, Ida Corr and loads more.
Dave Lambert’s career took off in 1990 at a place called Paradox focusing merely on rock-influenced music. He played house music for several party concepts which gave him his very first residency in Le Beau Zoo (1998).
Right from the start, he creates a special vibe commanding enormous respect from club owners and peers. As result, one of Dave Lambert’s biggest breakthrough residencies is for super club Zillion (2000). During this residency he was also the main resident for the a U.K. organization, Golden Uk nights.
Golden brought Zillion the crème de la crème of DJs. Seb Fontaine, Paul van Dyk, Tall Paul, Sander Kleinenberg were among the list. That was a turning point in Dave’s career as Zillion made him known all over Belgium and abroad! Dave then went playing in clubs and events like Space (Ibiza), Velfarre (Japan), Kadoc (Portugal) and Colossos. He also performed in Colossos (Spain), Nature One (Germany), Rave On Snow (Austria), Extrema Solar (Holland) and more.
Dave was still in ZILLION till its unfortunate closure in October 2001! He didn’t immediately take on another residency after that. He went on playing at more high profile events till Versuz (2002) gave him a new residency on Saturdays. Versuz, a +4000 capacity venue known all over the globe for inviting big international guests on a regular basis.
Sharing decks with Pete Tong, Wally Lopez, Martin Solveig, Bob Sinclar, Armand van Helden and Todd Terry was major. In addition, he also got to play with the current Top 100 DJs like David Guetta, Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angello, Axwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and more!
In 2006, Dave was headlining Europe’s famous ID&T’s Sensation White event with Tom De Neef, Darren Emerson, M.I.K.E. and Marco V! It surely was one of the highlights in his career as it was in his hometown of Antwerp! Recent highlight include the several tours in Brazil. To add, were the gigs at Sirena and Fernando De Noronha in Brazil. He was also playing Amnesia Ibiza for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s House Of Madness (2014), Blue Marlin Ibiza with Mark Ursa, Tomorrowland Mainstage 2012 and so many more!
As of the presstime, Dave Lambert’s studio activities and DJ bookings are going through the roof! New collaborations and records are in store and are ready to take the world by storm. The future looks bright for Dave Lambert!
